Artist Thinking Process (Step #2)

After you have come up with an idea of what you want to create, spend some time developing it before you begin working on your final piece. Your goal is to make an original, unique, meaningful artwork. Below you will find some ways you can develop your idea. 

Sketch for Composition

Plan out the colors for your artwork

Create a practice version or section

Practice Technique or Medium

Research photos or other artwork that may help you make your artwork - print these out and put in your sketchbook

Make a list, mindmap, or other brainstorm
