Progress Journal Blog Posts
Blog Post Expectations
Students working independently in Advanced Digital Art are responsible for recording their progress and reporting it to the teacher by submitting a weekly blog post. This post should be a full and complete update of the advancements made towards the student’s goal. Aside from the internship and the final project, these blog posts are the sole factor for grading. It is imperative that students put quality time and effort into these posts.
To be included:
· A clear and focused weekly goal
· An explanation of this goal and how it fits into the semester goal
· Record of what work was completed in class
· Record of what work was completed outside of class
· Reflection on your progress (include and new ideas, insights, innovations)
· Research done to support your goal (include artists or other info you have found)
· Struggles or problems that have challenged you
· Visual documentations to support any/all of the above
Grading:
Each weekly blog post will be one summative grade based on the Blog Post Rubric
