Virtual Art Club
Hello!!! |
I've missed all of you fellow artists! I have been using my extra time inside to work on lots of art! How about you?
This Virtual Art Club is a place for you to find fun art making ideas and to share what you create during this time. You can make anything you want but if you need some inspiration, try one of the activities below. You can join our weekly "Make Art with Ms. B" Meet sessions every Thursday from 3:15-3:45 (Istanbul Time) to connect with other artists and share what you have been making! Anyone is welcome! Be sure to email me your creations so I can add it to this page! [email protected] |
Rainbows in WindowsCreate a rainbow and put it in your window to brighten the day of someone walking by. This is a way artists are connecting to each other during this challenging time.

Artwork Recreation ChallengeThe Getty Museum has challenged you to recreate a work of art. Have a look at some of the examples then try it for yourself. Find a painting you like. Figure out how you can recreate it as exact as you can or do a modern twist to it. Plan what you need to do, gather your materials, recreate the painting, and have a family member take a photo of you. Use your iPad and put the original painting beside your recreation.

Create Your Own "I Spy"Are you familiar with the I Spy books? They are made of photographs showing hundreds of small objects. Each photograph has a list of objects that you need to find within the picture. Watch the video below for a cool behind-the-scenes look at how they are made. Then create your own by collecting lots of small objects from your home, arranging them in an interesting way, and photographing them. Then make a list of tricky objects for people to find.
