Non-objective art does not have anything realistic in it. It is not trying to look like anything. Instead, artists use the elements of art: lines, shapes, colors etc. to create their artwork.

Your task:
Create a non-onjective artwork using only shapes and lines
Steps:
1. Gather some different object that you can trace to make shapes (a cup for a circle, a block for a square, etc)
2. Trace the shapes on your paper, spreading them out and overlapping some of them
3. Add black lines (straight with a ruler or squiggly)
4. Color in some of the shapes, be sure to leave some parts white
*Be sure your name and class code is on the back of your paper in pencil
*If you are working digitally, be sure to save your work to the camera roll (even if it is not finished)
