Unique Self-Portrait
Self Portrait Series AP 2D Design
Portraiture Ms. Alisa
Date Assigned: March 7, 2016 Due Date: March 17, 2016
Goal: To create a series of two-three unique self-portraits
Explanation: An important aspect to every artist’s portfolio is their self-portrait. This one piece of artwork records not only what the artist physically looks like but also their approach to the world as an artist. In this series you will create two-three self-portraits to express yourself to the world as an artist. The key to these portraits is their uniqueness and originality. The self-portraits do not have to work cohesively together, they may speak to different parts of your personality and may not relate to each other visually. The pieces should be finished, final works that are portfolio ready.
