Teach A Lesson AP 2D Design

Goal: To share knowledge with the class by instructing a one day digital art lesson to produce a digital art piece for the breadth section of the AP 2D portfolio.
Explanation: Each student will teach the class for one day. The student will design a lesson that will teach a new digital art skill and will ideally result in one digital art piece appropriate for the AP 2D Design portfolio breadth section.
Formative:
One paragraph lesson proposal due 01.20 (emailed to Ms. Alisa)
Eight different breadth pieces (one from each of the class presentations) due in March (exact day TBD)

- Lesson Plan & Homework Assignment for classmates (Due one class before)
- New, unique lesson unlike any of the examples below
- Demonstration of skill showing mastery
- Step-by-step handout or video for student’s reference
- Three professional examples
- Two self-made examples
- All lesson information on a webpage
Notes:
- Your lesson must be approved by Ms. Alisa
- Be sure the correct documents and assignments are ready the class before you present
- Review with evaluation
- All photographs used in the creation of pieces need taken by the person making it unless drastically altered
- You will be given time in March to complete any remaining work on the pieces before they are due as formative work
- Be sure your lessons are advanced enough for the class and appropriate for the AP portfolio
- Sign-Ups are first come first serve, present your project proposal to me at any time (the latest being the 20th) and select your presentation day
